I have 13 years as a breeder/exhibitor in multiple breeds (and I have even shown cats). This (combined with my art and animation
background) has provided me with a unique and extensive knowledge of anatomy, movement and breed standards.
I use these elements in the creation of all of my work, including my well-known, award winning whimsical animal jewelry. I
have also been involved in breed rescue for ACDs (1990- 2004) and training and behavior the entire time. I really am a truly
an all-around insider dog person and artist, who can relate to all of my customers on many levels.
Ever since I started Blue Dog Studio in 1992, I have withstood the twin tests of time and imitators and by now my ceramic
porcelain animal jewelry remains unsurpassed for quality, aesthetic and patriotic ethical values. My authentic, Detroit-style
sculptured pottery tiles and animated illustration products also reflect my varied interests.

and markings.
